African mango: quick answers
Is African mango the same as the fruit mango?
No. African mango, also called irvingia, is sold for its seed extract. The Payarmin ingredient photo shows a seed. It is a different plant from the common fruit, so fruit nutrition does not carry over.
Will African mango raise caffeine in Payarmin?
No. African mango is not a caffeine source. Guarana and green tea are, and their amounts are not printed (MSKCC, Guarana). For most healthy adults, FDA cites 400 mg a day as a tolerable level (FDA, Caffeine: how much is too much?).
How long was African mango studied for?
