What makes a blood sugar supplement look like a scam?
Four signs stand out: disease-treatment promises, secret formulas, invented reviews and refunds with traps.
FDA has warned firms that sell products claiming to treat diabetes and says it has not evaluated them (FDA, Illegally Sold Diabetes Treatments). A supplement may not claim to treat a disease (FDA, Structure/Function Claims).
So the first check is wording. "Supports" is allowed with a disclaimer. Any word that names a disease to treat is a red flag.
