What are the benefits of maca root?

Maca is a traditional Andean root food. That history is real, but it is not a trial.

Why is maca listed first on the Payarmin label?
Because the blend is sorted from most to least by weight, so maca is the heaviest line, not necessarily a heavy one (21 CFR 101.36 (eCFR)).
The blend totals 200 mg per 1 mL. Line 1 could be anywhere from 9.1 mg up to the full 200 mg, and the label does not say. Line 22 can be no more than 9.1 mg.

Maca on the label: quick answers
Is the maca in Payarmin a powder or an extract?
The label says Maca (Lepidium meyenii) Root Extract. It prints no extract ratio, and a ratio would show yield, not strength anyway (Monagas et al., Front Pharmacol 2022).
Does maca affect hormones?
